About the artist

Jennifer Lyn Tuozzolo is a visual artist based
in Brooklyn, NY. Raised in Skaneateles, NY, Jennifer received a B.A. from Skidmore College, where she studied History and Economics. Although she did not major in fine arts, the study of photography has always been an important part of her life. In the last ten years, Jennifer has studied photography at Studio Art Centers International (Florence, Italy), University of New South Wales' Center of Fine Arts (Sydney, Australia), LeMoyne College (Syracuse, New York) and New England School of Photography (Boston, Massachusetts).

Jennifer recently received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute (May 2007).
Her most recent work uses the mediums of video and photography to explore the theme
of Compulsion. In the last year, Jennifer has also explored the interdisciplinary relationships between photography, new forms and sculpture, as well as alternative photographic processes such as pinhole photography.

Jennifer has exhibited work in Boston, Massachusetts, Brooklyn, New York and at
The Tang in Saratoga Springs, New York.
